With very simple technology tools, learning with eTutelage is as simple as it really gets.

A typical class consists of following sequence:

1. Student logs on his/her computer at the fixed time
2. The teacher is already logged on her machine
3. The teacher and the student talk through voice chat, see each other through webcam and also communicate via text chat
4. The teacher explains the lesson using a shared whiteboard where the teacher writes using a digital pen, just like in a regular class and the student sees it on his/her machine, just like a regular class.
5. The student also writes on the whiteboard, highlighting and pinpointing his/her problem areas.
6. At the end of the session, the teacher circulates Session Notes to help the student reinforce the learning and also to serve as a quick revision tool
